What are bibi baby bottles made of?

Baby’s health has top priority!
Therefore, bibi baby bottles are made of glass, polyamide (PA) or polypropylene (PP). All of them are free from Bisphenol A. With polyamide (PA) and polypropylene (PP), bibi focuses on a material, which is not only unbreakable and boil-proof, but is also considered totally harmless for the health.

Can bibi baby bottles and teats be cleaned in a dish washer?

Yes, all bibi baby bottles can be cleaned in a dish washer. In addition, we recommend sterilizing all parts by boiling for 5 minutes from time to time or in the bibi microwave sterilizer.

How often should I replace the bottle teats?

Teats made from silicone have an above-average resistance to ageing. For hygiene reasons, however, we recommend replacing teats after 2 months of regular use.

Can prolonged suckling on the baby bottle lead to cavities?

With prolonged suckling the teeth are constantly immersed in liquid. Carbohydrate food remains in combination with saliva can create sugar even with sugarless drinks. Bottles should only be given under supervision and for food intake (not as soother or toy). Instead of the bottle use a soother to pacify your baby.

Can sealing discs for bibi baby bottles be purchased individually?

Yes, if you lose one request a replacement free of charge from your bibi dealer. If your dealer does not have replacement parts in stock ask the sales clerk to order one for you

Every year we introduce a new bibi collection with 3 trendy designs on soothers, baby bottles and soother holders. And there are various classic bibi designs which have been in our collection for many years (e. g. “I love Mama” or “Papa is the best”).

Why do the bibi teats have a valve?

When the baby drinks a vacuum is created in the bottle. In order to prevent babies from having to suckle harder and swallow air, every teat is equipped with a valve which allows air flow and equalizes the vacuum in the bottle. The valve thus prevents the baby from swallowing too much air and offers more comfort.

What are the advantages of the orthodontic shape?

Teats und soothers have a perfect anatomical shape. When drinking, your baby’s mouth remains relaxed, the jaw and palate are perfectly supported and the tongue muscles are stimulated in a way that strengthens them.

Is the paint used on printed bibi soothers and baby bottles dangerous or possibly toxic?

No, bibi only uses food colouring which is perfectly harmless for children even if scratched off by little teeth.

Why are there two holes in the bibi soother disc?

The two holes in the disc ensure your child?s safety. Should a child inadvertently put the whole soother into his or her mouth, which is virtually impossible, it can still breathe, as the holes ensure a constant air flow. Please note: do NOT use the holes to attach a string to the soother since this would block the air flow in critical situations.

Why do the bibi soothers have a valve?

In order to ensure optimal suckling comfort. The soother tips made from silicone remain soft and elastic so that there is not too much resistance for the teeth. Any leftover water can easily be removed by squeezing it out.

What do I do if water collects in the tip after sterilizing the soother tip by boiling?

Any remaining water can be removed simply by squeezing the tip. With regular sterilization in boiling water there is no risk of bacterial contamination with some rest water collecting in the tip.

Depending on the country, additional soother designs are available for a limited time. And there are various classic bibi designs, which have been in our collection for many years (e. g. “I love Mama” or “Papa is the best”).

How often should a soother be cleaned?

Prior to initial use the soother should be immersed in boiling water for 5 minutes. Afterwards rinse well before each use. In case of heavy soiling we recommend sterilizing the soother by boiling again. Make sure to let the soother cool off after boiling and squeeze out any remaining water before use!

Can my baby swallow the soother?

No, the form of the soother disc was specially developed according to EN 1400 in order to prevent swallowing. Do not worry if your baby takes the entire soother in his or her mouth, and carefully take it out of the baby’s mouth. There is absolutely no risk of suffocation because the soother disc features air holes that allow the baby to breath even is such critical situations.

Why do bibi soothers come with and without ring?

The models with rings are easier to pop into the mouth and take out. Soothers with no rings are most suitable when your baby is going to sleep. A ring might then disturb your baby if it flips up and is pressed against the nose.

Our innovative bibi milk powder dispenser holds and dispenses the desired amount of baby formula at home and on the road. Four removable containers and the convenient pump-and-pour feature that fit all bibi baby bottles make the baby food preparation easy.

Is the use of soother holders dangerous?

All bibi soother holders are designed and tested according to the European standard 12586 in order to prevent any safety risk for your child. With proper application the soother holder is very helpful: it protects the soother from getting dirty and thus ensures additional hygiene. However, a soother holder should only be used in the daytime and with supervision. We highly recommend to only use EN standard tested soother holders. Self-made (mostly too long) soother holders can be extremely dangerous and could cause strangulation.

Do bibi products contain softening agents?

No, bibi products do not contain softening agents. We are proud to sell only products without PVC or made of phtalate-free PVC.

Can the bibi Swiss Strolli Rider be mounted to strollers with oval frames?

Yes, there are adapters for oval stroller frame diameters of 14×23,8 mm, 16 × 25 mm and 20×30 mm. These adapters are included in the Swiss Strolli Rider assembly as well as four round and two square adaptors. Your dealer will gladly inform you about attachment possibilities of the Swiss Strolli Rider onto your stroller.

Can I order bibi products directly from Lamprecht Ltd.?

Unfortunately no. Our products are sold exclusively through distributors near you: pharmacies, drug stores, baby specialty stores and various large distributors. The distribution structure varies from country to country. We gladly answer specific questions by e-mail.

What do I do if my preferred bibi stockist does not have a particular product in stock?
